Red Cross Tribute to Jon Tumilson, 4/12/2012

This video was produced to honor US Navy Petty Officer Jon T. Tumilson at the Red Cross of Central Iowa's 2012 Heroes of the Heartland.

In recognizing Tumilson, the Red Cross paid tribute to all of the men and women serving our country.

"What they did, what they do and what so many unsung heroes like them do is nothing short of breathtaking. They put the very best of the human spirit to work here on earth. Yet, even the remarkable people honored this morning stand in awe at those giants among us who serve in uniform as they go silently about the work of preserving freedom and human dignity at home and in the darkest corners of the world."
